Our highly experienced engineers can install and provide support for just about all avionics systems, and specialise in Radio Nav, Radio-Radar, Instruments and Fixed Wing Autopilots. We are equipped with some of the most modern line test sets to carry out these tasks.

Services in autopilots systems extend to Honeywell, S-TEC/Meggitt, Century & Altimatic providing an initial diagnosis, on-site repair, or, if required, source replacement or repaired LRU’s. An extensive range of loan equipment is available to customers whilst LRU repairs are being carried out. (Loan units are only available when BAL coordinates repairs, all subject to availability).

Warranty

As approved suppliers and installers for the manufacturers below, we can provide a warranty repair/exchange service, subject to individual manufacturers terms and conditions. (Normally shipping charges for repairs and exchanges are not fully covered by the manufacturer in warranty situations). If not a warranty situation, then normal repairs can be processed on your behalf.

Modifications and Upgrades

We can provide a turnkey solution for most avionic modifications. We pride ourselves on being able to provide a high-quality service, whether this is just a simple mode S installation or a complete panel upgrade. We can provide glass panel solutions for Garmin, Aspen, Sandel and Avidyne, using either manufacturers STCs or working with Part 21 design companies.

The company has over 260 minor modifications previously approved and adds to that database on a very regular basis, allowing a quick response and certification for many customers.

Defect Rectification

All your avionic repairs can be catered for using an arrangement with a fully approved 145 workshop within the UK, providing a quick and cost-effective solution. In many cases, loan units can be supplied whilst your unit is away for repair, (this service is free of charge if we provide the repair service, and charges apply for loaner only). A repair within the UK takes approximately 5-7 days dependent on parts. If you require FAA certification, or the unit has to be repaired outside the UK, we can arrange this also. Repair times in this case are at least 2 weeks.
